I ♥ Faces - Week 20 - “Silhouettes”

This week was a fun challenge to capture a silhouette. We were visiting my husband's grandparents this weekend and when I walked out on the dock one evening I saw Grammie Jean (82) holding her great-granddaughter, Louisa (our 18 month old daughter). What a timeless photo! Make sure to check out all of the other amazing photos this week at I ♥ Faces.

I ♥ Faces - Week 19 - "Blurb Photo Book Contest"

Fun week at I Faces including a Blurb Book giveaway for the winner. Everyone is entering their favorite faces this week so head on over here and check it out. I was disappointed when I realized I forgot about this image for "Hats" week, so I'm glad I get to enter it this week...hope I make it in the book! Since I recently had my first real customer, I'm entering the professional category (and feeling like a little fish in a GREAT BIG OCEAN!!) Here is one of my favorite faces...

"I am submitting this photo into the www.iheartfaces.com Blurb Book photo contest. I am granting I Faces permission to use my photo in a printed version of a book for commercial use and possibly advertising of a photo book on both the Blurb and I Faces web sites."

I ♥ Faces - Week 17 - "Hats"

Kids Category:
Lots of special meaning behind this picture. Hubby is a USC grad and I am a Clemson grad. When I found out I was pregnant, I made these shirts and gave them to Hubby to tell him I was pregnant. Little did either of us know at the time that we would actually need both shirts! When we found out we were having a boy and a girl, we decided that our girl would be "Mommy's little Tiger" and our boy would be "Daddy's little Gamecock." A perfect pair...just like Mommy and Daddy! I know I'm biased, but I think they are precious in their hats. If only they were still this little!!

Adult Category:

More Tiger stuff...My sister and brother-in-law have taken all 4 of their kids to Clemson games from the time they were each only a few weeks old...you gotta start 'em young!! When I took this picture, Brad had just bought new matching hats for him and Matthew. If you look closely, you can see the pride and joy in a daddy's eyes...pride for his team and the joy of introducing his son to a wonderful thing called Clemson football!!

Go check out all of the other great hats posted this week at I Faces.
